Tibet 2007 Video Report
Paul McGreavy, the leader for this year’s expedition to Tibet has put together a video clip summary of the trip.
Future Expedition Destinations - 2009 and Beyond
We’ve already decided that we’re going to Kenya in 2009, but hopefully joining Kenya as a 2009 destination is India. Planning is in it’s earliest stages and we’ll have to wait and see if the trip will be viable, but it’s looking quite good, so brush up on your Hindi, Dogri, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Kashmiri and more, and send us an email if you want to get involved.
As for 2010, well, we’re almost definitely going to return to the Grand Canyon for rafting and trekking - always a favourite in the YSES five year cycle. On top of the expedition to the Grand Canyon, planning is underway for a trek through the Egyptian desert and up to the top of Mount Sinai, and tentative preparations have begun into the possibility of a return to Peru, another favourite destination of YSES.

Tony Whiting has produced a multimedia presentation (in PowerPoint format) to give you a taste of what a trip to Alaska has to offer. Tony is leading the Yorkshire Schools Exploring Society’s Alaska 2008 expedition next summer. Download the PowerPoint here (15 Mb).
