Whether you’d like to show your support for what we do, or get involved with expeditioning with YSES, either as a young person or as a leader, you’ll need to join us as a member.

To join, please email info@yses.org.uk requesting an application form.

Membership Costs

There are three levels of membership of the Yorkshire Schools Exploring Society

  1. Individual £10.00 per annum (voting rights: 1 vote)
  2. Family £15.00 per annum (voting rights: 2 votes)
  3. Life Membership £100.00 one off payment (voting rights: 1 vote)

Membership Benefits

There are many benefits to being a YSES Member, apart from having the opportunity to visit and explore some of the world’s wildest places. Benefits of membership include:

  • Various discounts at outdoor shops in the region
  • 10% discount on YET leadership courses
  • £20 saving per booking at the University of Leeds outdoor centres at Selside and Dale Head
  • Discounted YSES merchandise
  • YSES Newsletter
